SB O₂ is a program that offers inclusive sports events for different audiences. The objective is to gather and share through and around the practice of a sport activity open to all, without discrimination of gender or socio-economic-cultural status. Our events are open to young and not so young people from all spheres of society, in the widest possible range. The event is supervised by intercultural mediators and all kinds of professionals in the field of sports who ensure a framework that favors exchange and inclusion of all participants. We wish to let sport exercise its natural power of universalism and social cohesion on the participants.
Mission
- Create offers, spaces and sports infrastructures adapted, accessible and varied for the most disadvantaged.
- Promote inclusion, equal opportunity and active participation for all, with an emphasis on fun, health, wellness and personal development.
- Encourage an active lifestyle, to engage in regular physical activity and to reap the many mental, social and physical benefits.
- Teach fair play, respect, team spirit and solidarity in a spirit of healthy competition where the main objective is to surpass oneself, to progress and to share moments of conviviality and cohesion.
Vision
Our vision is a world where every individual, regardless of age, gender, race, background, social status or physical ability, to name a few, has the opportunity and encouragement to participate in sport, a world where sport brings people together and is a resource available to all, not just to an elite or a specific group of people.
