The Location

The project location has been chosen carefully in AZAZ area, one of the most vital and strategic zones under Turkish authority (Northern Syria) because of its safety and proximity to (Kilis, Turkey). It has good reliable infrastructure for such project.

The project

The project will shelter Syrian refugees who have been displaced twice or more over the last decade. The objective is to create a sustainable durable community where our beneficiaries can take the lead in running Al-Zaytoun village.

THE CONCEPT

The design of facades & surrounding environment was carefully studied to provide the best level of comfort. Colours were selected for their high psychological impact to improve lives and lighten the pain suffered by displaced families.

The VISION

A sustainable self-sufficient village model that can be reproduced around the globe to shelter all refugees: war & environmental. Sheltering forced displacement victims and creating a safe stable environment for refugees to start building their lives and reclaim their future.

With education, empowerment, and professional training on top of our priority list. Implementing our Dafsha Helwa project ( A Nudge To Rise Again) to help local small businesses reopen giving our beneficiaries’ community their independence and autonomy back.
