My life in Syria was nice, but during the war my family and me had to flee to Lebanon. My husband has not been able to find a work in Lebanon to cover all of our expenses. For this reason I decided to enroll at SB’s center, here I am learning crafts and different skills that I can put to use to help my husband and have more income. After several months SB offered me a sewing machine with which I am now creating and selling pieces of clothing from home.

Ma vie en Syrie était agréable, mais pendant la guerre, ma famille et moi avons dû nous enfuir au Liban. Mon mari n’a pas été en mesure de trouver un travail au Liban pour couvrir toutes nos dépenses. C’est pour cette raison que j’ai décidé de m’inscrire au centre SB, où je suis en train d’apprendre de l’artisanat et différentes compétences que je peux mettre à profit pour aider mon mari et avoir plus de revenus. Après plusieurs mois, SB m’a offert une machine à coudre avec laquelle je crée et vend maintenant des vêtements à la maison.
