SB Overseas is looking for enthusiastic and capable volunteers to teach English and help run two of our schools and women’s training centres in Lebanon: one in Beirut and one in Saida (45 minutes south of Beirut).
The refugee children there need this remedial education in order to pass entry tests for the Lebanese public education system. Without access to public education, they risk missing out on an education permanently, and becoming a “lost generation”.
The women in our centres, meanwhile, find themselves in vulnerable situations, and need the training and support provided by our team to empower them with the promise of a brighter future.
The programme is running September 2017-September 2018, and we are looking for volunteers to join us for a placement of 2 months.
To apply, please download the application form opposite.
(Please note: we are having technical issues with our online application form, which is referred to in the FAQ. The online form will be up and running again shortly. In the meantime, please fill out the offline application form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your CV.)
For more information about the programme, free to browse through our FAQ, or check out the programme’s Facebook group, where you can find photos and updates from the programme, as well as the most up to date information on the application process.
If you have any questions that aren’t answered there, please also send these to email@example.com.
