a youth in Beirut

I used to live with my mum and dad in Syria there I used to study in a nice school. But we faced changes that brought us to Beirut… my life in Syria was lovely. When I came to Lebanon, it was boring and tiring but I got used to it. Then I registered at SB’s Beirut center and my mental health got better. I got to meet new friends and decided to apply to 9th grade in public school. My attendance in class was really good. I took beauty, knitting and English classes. My character has improved,  I do not get angry so easily. I have a clear life goal now: to learn and to write stories.

un jeune à Beyrouth

Je vivais avec ma mère et mon père en Syrie où j’étudiais dans une belle école. Mais nous avons été confronté aux changements qui nous ont amenés à Beyrouth… ma vie en Syrie était belle. Quand je suis arrive au Liban, c’était ennuyeux et fatiguant, mais je m’y suis habitué. Ensuite, je me suis inscrite au centre SB à Beyrouth et ma santé mentale s’est améliorée. J’ai rencontré de nouveaux amies et j’ai décidé de postuler en 9ème année  à l’école publique. Ma présence en classe était vraiment bonne. J’ai pris des cours de beauté, tricot et d’anglais. Ma personnalité s’est améliorée, je ne fâche plus si facilement. J’ai maintenant un objectif précis dans ma vie: apprendre et écrire des histoires.
