Op dit moment staan 189 vluchtelingen uit door oorlog verscheurde landen klaar om in Belgi\u00eb hervestigd te worden via gemeenschapssponsoring. Ze wachten op \u00e9\u00e9n ding: een groep burgers die bereid zijn om hen te verwelkomen wanneer ze aankomen.<\/p>\n

The Community Sponsorship Program offers citizens a unique opportunity to take an active role in refugee resettlement. By becoming sponsors, individuals or groups provide essential support to refugee families as they adjust to their new lives in Belgium. This commitment includes both practical and emotional assistance, ensuring that families feel welcomed and integrated into their new community. Sponsors contribute financially in a limited but impactful way\u2014covering initial housing costs such as rent and deposit before arrival, and offering short-term financial assistance during the family’s first month, bridging the gap until they receive their refugee status. Through this initiative, sponsors help create a strong foundation for refugees to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.<\/p>\n

Ben jij een toegewijd persoon die wil bijdragen aan de maatschappij om je heen? Ben je bereid om deel te nemen aan een diep menselijk avontuur dat het leven van een hele familie zal veranderen?<\/p>\n

Met de hulp van vier andere mensen kun je een solidariteitsgroep vormen en een vluchtelingengezin in Belgi\u00eb begeleiden. Je investeert in hen en biedt hen ondersteuning voor de duur van een jaar, om hen te helpen hun leven opnieuw op te bouwen. De eerste stap is een woning voor hen vinden. In afwachting van het integratie-inkomen help je de vluchtelingen de eerste weken ook financieel met hun basisbehoeften. (Huur voor de eerste maand, basisbehoeften, administratieve kosten, enz.) Daarna is het jouw missie om de familie te ondersteunen in hun dagelijkse leven en hun nieuwe leven in Belgi\u00eb.<\/p>\n
