C'est ce que l'une de nos volontaires a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l'avoir motiv\u00e9e \u00e0 entreprendre un nouveau voyage au Liban.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n
Depuis 2014, SB OverSeas travaille au Liban pour fournir \u00e9ducation<\/a> aux nombreux enfants r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s non scolaris\u00e9s et <\/span><\/span>faciliter<\/span><\/span> acc\u00e8s au syst\u00e8me scolaire public local<\/span><\/span>. L'objectif est d'\u00e9viter une \u00ab g\u00e9n\u00e9ration perdue \u00bb. <\/span>Initialement<\/span><\/span>, gr\u00e2ce au soutien du personnel local, <\/span><\/span>la plupart<\/span><\/span> r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s eux-m\u00eames, et plus tard en 2016, avec de jeunes volontaires du monde entier, l'organisation a tendu la main \u00e0 plus de 1 400 enfants pour cr\u00e9er un <\/span>mieux demain<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Depuis pr\u00e8s de deux ans maintenant, des groupes de jeunes gens inspir\u00e9s et ouverts d'esprit ont pass\u00e9 entre deux et huit mois dans nos \u00e9coles de rattrapage \u00e0 Beyrouth et \u00e0 Sa\u00efda pour aider le personnel local qui dispense des cours d'anglais, de math\u00e9matiques et de sciences.<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>Ils <\/span><\/span>sont \u00e9mus par<\/span><\/span> leur d\u00e9sir de rendre le monde meilleur en connectant les communaut\u00e9s et en surmontant les faux st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes et les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>Ind\u00e9pendamment de toute peur de l'inconnu ou de ce qui est au-del\u00e0 de notre petite r\u00e9alit\u00e9, pour certains de nos volontaires, voyager au Moyen-Orient est "leur premier grand voyage" pour enfin r\u00e9aliser \u00e0 quel point nous sommes similaires dans nos diff\u00e9rences.<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mais, <\/span>qu'est-ce que le b\u00e9n\u00e9volat chez SB OverSeas <\/span>vraiment<\/span><\/span> moyenne?<\/span>. <\/span>Pour beaucoup de nos b\u00e9n\u00e9voles, ce n'est pas seulement un simple acte de don, c'est plut\u00f4t une exp\u00e9rience d'apprentissage o\u00f9 chacun re\u00e7oit quelque chose en retour, affectant des vies et parfois, forgeant un nouveau cheminement de carri\u00e8re.<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>Plus que <\/span><\/span>juste<\/span><\/span> l'enseignement, le volontariat \u00e0 SB OverSeas favorise un \u00e9change social et culturel, une rencontre qui devient une d\u00e9couverte (de soi)<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre <\/span>programme d'aide et de distribution d'urgence<\/span>, les volontaires apprennent \u00e0 conna\u00eetre nos b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires et comprennent les conditions difficiles dans lesquelles vivent de nombreuses familles de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>Ce qui surprend le plus, c'est que malgr\u00e9 toutes les difficult\u00e9s et tous les d\u00e9fis que la vie leur a impos\u00e9s, ils n'ont pas perdu espoir<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>"Voir le sourire et l'enthousiasme sur les visages de nos \u00e9tudiants en vaut la peine"<\/span>, est le commentaire d'un autre volontaire qui se sent encourag\u00e9 \u00e0 donner plus<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Notre programme de volontariat offre la possibilit\u00e9 de grandir sur le plan personnel et professionnel<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>Les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles se joindront \u00e0 nous pour enseigner aux enfants et aux adultes, aider les femmes et les jeunes filles \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences de vie et \u00e0 atteindre un \u00e9l\u00e9ment d'ind\u00e9pendance financi\u00e8re dans le cadre de nos programmes d'autonomisation, ainsi qu'\u00e0 participer \u00e0 plusieurs autres activit\u00e9s allant des arts et de l'artisanat aux activit\u00e9s sportives et aux sorties sur le terrain.<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>De plus, nous leur offrons la possibilit\u00e9 de s'immerger dans un cours intensif d'arabe pour mieux communiquer et interagir avec la communaut\u00e9 locale.<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>Enfin et surtout, nos volontaires deviennent nos voix en soutenant notre cause principale et en sensibilisant \u00e0 certains des principaux probl\u00e8mes mondiaux tels que la pratique croissante de <\/span><\/span>le mariage d'enfants<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>A travers des articles et t\u00e9moignages<\/a> depuis le terrain, des volontaires mettent en lumi\u00e8re cette pratique bien connue en raison des conflits, du manque d'\u00e9ducation et de la pauvret\u00e9<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
