Lire l&#039;original <a href=\"https:\/\/gruenhelme.de\/ein-steinwurf-von-der-syrischen-grenze-entfernt\/#more-10561\">ici<\/a> (en allemand).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 un jet de pierre de la fronti\u00e8re syrienne, les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s syriens traversaient l&#039;un des hivers les plus rigoureux de la ville libanaise d&#039;Arsal.<\/p>\n<p>La p\u00e9riode la plus difficile de l&#039;ann\u00e9e pour ceux qui vivent dans la r\u00e9gion montagneuse situ\u00e9e pr\u00e8s de la fronti\u00e8re syro-libanaise touche \u00e0 sa fin. Arsal, situ\u00e9 \u00e0 seulement un jet de pierre de la fronti\u00e8re syrienne sur les pentes des montagnes de l&#039;Anti-Liban, a subi de fortes chutes de neige, des temp\u00eates impr\u00e9visibles, des pluies de mousson et des temp\u00e9ratures glaciales. Cet hiver, environ 60 000 \u00e0 100 000 r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s syriens vivent sous des tentes. Pour de nombreuses familles, il s&#039;agissait de leur septi\u00e8me hiver dans ce lieu hostile.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis d\u00e9cembre 2017, les Casques verts travaillent \u00e0 Arsal pour rendre les camps plus hospitaliers gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la toiture et au renforcement des structures de tentes actuelles. Ils ajoutent \u00e9galement des fen\u00eatres qui permettent la ventilation et la lumi\u00e8re dans les tentes.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le nombre d&#039;habitants d&#039;Arsal a plus que tripl\u00e9. Avec une population d&#039;environ 35 000 personnes avant la guerre, elle est aujourd&#039;hui pass\u00e9e \u00e0 plus de 100 000. La plupart de ces camps ont entre 10 et 60 tentes qui sont lou\u00e9es par les propri\u00e9taires terriens libanais. Parfois, le co\u00fbt est support\u00e9 par les organisations humanitaires libanaises ou syriennes, mais le plus souvent le co\u00fbt est support\u00e9 par les familles syriennes.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le camp de Wadi Swed, o\u00f9 les Casques verts ont ajout\u00e9 des toits et des fen\u00eatres \u00e0 50 tentes, tous les gens venaient du m\u00eame village et se connaissaient avant de venir au Liban. L&#039;ancien maire du village est maintenant le chef du camp et agit comme point de contact pour les probl\u00e8mes au sein du camp. Il a ouvert une petite boutique pour approvisionner la communaut\u00e9 en nourriture et autres n\u00e9cessit\u00e9s. Il vit avec sa femme et ses petits-enfants dans une petite tente carr\u00e9e de 16m. Il a perdu son fils dans le conflit et s&#039;occupe maintenant des enfants de son fils. En plus de la boutique, des vendeurs libanais de fruits et l\u00e9gumes viennent quotidiennement au camp pour vendre leurs marchandises. La communaut\u00e9 partage \u00e9galement quelques motos qu&#039;elle utilise pour se rendre au centre-ville.<\/p>\n<p>La plupart des enfants du camp vont \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9cole, certains dans les \u00e9coles syriennes, g\u00e9r\u00e9es \u00e0 Arsal par des organisations syriennes ou priv\u00e9es, et d&#039;autres fr\u00e9quentent l&#039;\u00ab \u00e9quipe du soir \u00bb des \u00e9coles libanaises. Les cours sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement gratuits, mais les frais li\u00e9s au transport peuvent \u00eatre probl\u00e9matiques. Le travail est difficile \u00e0 trouver et mal pay\u00e9, surtout en hiver. Les conflits avec les employeurs libanais ne sont pas rares et il y a des cas d&#039;exploitation par le travail.<\/p>\n<p>Les familles syriennes peinent \u00e0 accepter leur nouvelle vie \u00e0 Arsal. Encore et encore, on parle de la patrie et ils se rem\u00e9morent leur ancienne vie. Les \u00e9preuves de cet hiver sont peut-\u00eatre presque termin\u00e9es, mais dans quelques mois, le prochain sera en route.
