Notre pr\u00e9sidente, Louma Albik a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9e au Royaume-Uni pour pr\u00e9senter le travail que SB OverSeas fait au Liban et \u00e0 Bruxelles avec un accent particulier sur le travail que nous faisons pour les femmes \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que c&#039;\u00e9tait la Journ\u00e9e internationale de la femme. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le souper-b\u00e9n\u00e9fice annuel, qui en est \u00e0 sa treizi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e, a eu lieu \u00e0 l&#039;h\u00f4tel Cedar Court \u00e0 Wakefield. L&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nement a r\u00e9uni plus de 250 femmes, dont Dame Glenis Willmott, ancienne dirigeante travailliste en Europe et les d\u00e9put\u00e9s travaillistes Rachel Reeves, Mary Creagh, Gill Furniss, Holly Lynch et Melanie Onn. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Louma Albik a donn\u00e9 un aper\u00e7u de SB OverSeas et de son travail au Liban et en Belgique. Elle a racont\u00e9 l&#039;histoire d&#039;Amena, une Syrienne de 55 ans qui fr\u00e9quente les centres SB OverSeas pour acqu\u00e9rir de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences et aussi pour transmettre ces comp\u00e9tences \u00e0 ses six enfants adopt\u00e9s. Elle a soulign\u00e9 que l&#039;\u00e9ducation est la cl\u00e9 et a reconnu les efforts des femmes pour le changement dans la salle en d\u00e9clarant &quot;chacune de nous ici est une bougie dans l&#039;obscurit\u00e9 pour de nombreuses femmes et jeunes filles, et je suis s\u00fbre que chaque bougie peut enflammer une autre et ensemble nous pouvons \u00e9clairer le monde entier \u00bb. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Merci beaucoup \u00e0 Linda McAvan d&#039;avoir choisi SB OverSeas.
