La pand\u00e9mie de coronavirus COVID-19 a touch\u00e9 toutes les communaut\u00e9s ; que ce soit sous quarantaine stricte en Italie ou en Espagne, ou en imposant la distanciation sociale et l'auto-quarantaine dans d'autres parties de l'Europe et du reste du monde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il existe cependant des communaut\u00e9s souvent oubli\u00e9es qui n'ont pas re\u00e7u de conseils sur la mani\u00e8re d'\u00e9viter la propagation de ce virus hautement contagieux. L'une de ces communaut\u00e9s est constitu\u00e9e des 1 500 personnes originaires de Syrie qui vivent au refuge d'Ouzai \u00e0 Saida, au Liban. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le refuge abrite 1 500 hommes, femmes, enfants et jeunes vivant dans un immeuble de 4 \u00e9tages, avec une chambre pour chaque famille (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 5 \u00e0 8 personnes) et une salle de bain commune \u00e0 chaque \u00e9tage. Par pr\u00e9caution, notre centre d'\u00e9ducation et d'autonomisation \u00e0 Saida a suspendu ses activit\u00e9s, cependant, nous continuons \u00e0 chercher \u00e0 soutenir la communaut\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le HCR et la municipalit\u00e9 de Saida ont distribu\u00e9 une aide mat\u00e9rielle \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9, notamment du Clorox et des kits d'hygi\u00e8ne, et les ont implor\u00e9s de ne pas quitter le refuge. Certains membres de la communaut\u00e9 travaillent dans diff\u00e9rentes villes du Liban et leur mobilit\u00e9 continue augmente les risques de contracter le virus et de l'amener \u00e0 l'abri. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cependant, sans informations appropri\u00e9es sur le virus, les mat\u00e9riaux ne seront pas aussi efficaces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lundi matin, la municipalit\u00e9 a st\u00e9rilis\u00e9 l'ensemble de l'abri et applique en outre les mesures de confinement qui sont en place dans tout le Liban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00eame encore, cette communaut\u00e9 a besoin de trois choses de base\u00a0: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) du mat\u00e9riel d'hygi\u00e8ne afin de continuer \u00e0 assainir leur lieu de s\u00e9jour et \u00eatre s\u00fbr qu'ils sont \u00e0 l'abri de contracter le virus <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) des informations pr\u00e9cises sur le coronavirus COVID-19 et sur la mani\u00e8re d'utiliser ces mat\u00e9riels d'assainissement \u00e0 des fins de pr\u00e9vention et <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) acc\u00e8s au d\u00e9pistage et aux services m\u00e9dicaux imm\u00e9diats<\/p>\n\n\n\n
