BRUXELLES \u2013 Le 16 juin, SB OverSeas a invit\u00e9 ses supporters \u00e0 rompre le je\u00fbne du Ramadan au Birmingham Palace de la rue de Birmingham \u00e0 Anderlecht. Parmi les centaines d'invit\u00e9s figuraient des b\u00e9n\u00e9voles du groupe SB Event qui ont organis\u00e9 cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, leurs familles et amis, d'autres b\u00e9n\u00e9voles SB et des familles de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s. Chaque participant \u00e9tait signe de l'\u00e9tendue et de l'unit\u00e9 de la \u00ab\u00a0communaut\u00e9 SB\u00a0\u00bb - ou plut\u00f4t des \u00ab\u00a0communaut\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Le iftar<\/em> rassemblaient des personnes de confession et de culture musulmanes mais aussi des personnes d'autres religions et de nombreuses nationalit\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sentes. Certains participants observaient le je\u00fbne, tandis que d'autres ne l'\u00e9taient pas - m\u00eame si, malgr\u00e9 cela, certains des invit\u00e9s non musulmans se sont pleinement plong\u00e9s dans l'esprit de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement en essayant de je\u00fbner pour la journ\u00e9e. La iftar <\/em>a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme par 25 jeunes bruxellois issus de milieux d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s, connus sous le nom d'\u00e9quipe \u00ab SB Event \u00bb. Pendant trois mois, ils ont planifi\u00e9, organis\u00e9 et mis en place tout le programme et le menu de la soir\u00e9e. Ils ont poursuivi leurs efforts \u00e0 travers SB OverSeas pour lutter contre la stigmatisation et promouvoir le dialogue interculturel.<\/p>\n

Au coucher du soleil, plusieurs des hommes dans la pi\u00e8ce se sont d\u00e9plac\u00e9s vers le coin pour observer le maghr\u00e9bin<\/em>, la pri\u00e8re qui signale la rupture du je\u00fbne de la journ\u00e9e. Les invit\u00e9s affam\u00e9s ont ensuite eu droit \u00e0 une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s locales du monde arabe, notamment des mini-pizzas, des briouats, des nems arabes et du couscous. Toute la nourriture a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9e sur place par les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles et leurs m\u00e8res. Une b\u00e9n\u00e9vole particuli\u00e8rement d\u00e9vou\u00e9e a \u00e9pluch\u00e9 et coup\u00e9 50 kg d'oignons toute seule dans les 8 heures pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n

Louma Albik, PDG de SB OverSeas, a souhait\u00e9 la bienvenue aux invit\u00e9s et les a remerci\u00e9s pour leur soutien. L'accent \u00e9tait mis sur l'excellent travail de SB Event et les r\u00e9alisations de SB OverSeas dans la r\u00e9gion bruxelloise, qui permet aux jeunes issus de contextes socialement vuln\u00e9rables et aux jeunes demandeurs d'asile de s'int\u00e9grer et de devenir une partie active de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Le ma\u00eetre de c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de la soir\u00e9e \u00e9tait Zoe, une jeune membre enthousiaste de l'\u00e9quipe SB Event qui travaille avec SB OverSeas depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 2013.<\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, le iftar<\/em> \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9 musicalement par un groupe nomm\u00e9 Aswat Arrouh<\/span>, qui jouaient anasheed<\/em>, un type de musique religieuse. Pour compl\u00e9ter la conversation naturelle entre les invit\u00e9s, les organisateurs ont propos\u00e9 un quiz sur l'islam, qui s'est av\u00e9r\u00e9 une activit\u00e9 amusante pour briser la glace, alors que des personnes d'horizons diff\u00e9rents ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 discuter de leur propre h\u00e9ritage et de leur religion.<\/p>\n

Les derniers convives sont repartis rassasi\u00e9s \u00e0 2h du matin, tandis que les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles sont rest\u00e9s jusqu'\u00e0 4h30 pour d\u00e9gager les lieux.
