Explorer l&#039;avenir de la science, de la technologie et de la chimie avec les jeunes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>\u00c9crit par Micaela Lafratta, assistante d&#039;activit\u00e9 SB Espoir<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un astronaute, un avocat ou un cow-boy. C&#039;\u00e9taient mes trois options de carri\u00e8re quand j&#039;avais 7 ans. Depuis, j&#039;ai chang\u00e9 d&#039;avis plusieurs fois sur ce que je voulais faire quand je serais grand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qu&#039;est-ce qui me passionne ? De quoi suis-je capable ? Quel est mon r\u00eave ? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces questions me sont venues le plus \u00e0 l&#039;esprit : me sentir libre de r\u00eaver de la carri\u00e8re que je voulais. Et, soudain, j&#039;ai d\u00e9couvert la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 qui m&#039;est apparue comme une douche froide : ma r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e9tait l&#039;exception plut\u00f4t que la norme, mais il suffit d&#039;un certain effort pour en faire une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 pour plus de jeunes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0Avec cette id\u00e9e en t\u00eate, nous avons organis\u00e9 une activit\u00e9 dans notre <a href=\"https:\/\/sboverseas.org\/fr\/sb-espoir\/\">Projet SB Espoir<\/a> qui soutient les jeunes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s vivant dans des centres d&#039;accueil \u00e0 Bruxelles sur le recyclage du plastique et les opportunit\u00e9s d&#039;emploi pour les jeunes. Avec la collaboration de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plastimobile.com\/\">Plastimobile,<\/a> un atelier mobile qui vise \u00e0 enseigner aux jeunes la science, la technologie et la chimie, nous avons d\u00e9couvert avec les jeunes comment il est possible de cr\u00e9er de nouveaux objets en plastique avec du plastique recycl\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saviez-vous qu&#039;il est possible de cr\u00e9er du plastique \u00e0 la maison avec juste du vinaigre et du lait ? Ou que s\u00e9parer correctement les types de plastique est fondamental pour les r\u00e9utiliser ? Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#039;expertise de Plastimobile, les jeunes ont eu l&#039;occasion de faire de la chimie et m\u00eame d&#039;apprendre \u00e0 manipuler des machines de recyclage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une grande acclamation remplit la pi\u00e8ce chaque fois qu&#039;un jeune gar\u00e7on ou une jeune fille manipule des mat\u00e9riaux chimiques et cr\u00e9e du plastique \u00e0 partir de nulle part, une file d&#039;attente pour essayer toutes les diff\u00e9rentes machines qui convertissent diff\u00e9rents types de plastique en masques ou porte-cl\u00e9s fantaisistes, et une question dans l&#039;air : &quot;comment as-tu fais \u00e7a?&quot;. Au final, une curiosit\u00e9 et une volont\u00e9 d&#039;apprendre qui nous ont pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 doubler les ateliers pr\u00e9vus pour que tous puissent participer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les centres d&#039;accueil de premi\u00e8re ligne Fedasil comme celui de Neder-Over-Heembeek, les jeunes demandeurs d&#039;asile ont leur premier contact avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 belge. En effet, dans ce contexte, \u00eatre conscient des possibilit\u00e9s que le march\u00e9 du travail peut lui offrir peut \u00eatre un outil en soi. Encore plus, lorsque les jeunes s&#039;int\u00e9ressent aux domaines scientifiques et techniques parce qu&#039;ils ont eu l&#039;occasion d&#039;essayer \u00e0 quel point il peut \u00eatre amusant de faire de la chimie eux-m\u00eames.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La connaissance est le pouvoir, disent-ils, et l&#039;\u00e9ducation aussi.
