The Community Sponsorship Program offers citizens a unique opportunity to take an active role in refugee resettlement. By becoming sponsors, individuals or groups provide essential support to refugee families as they adjust to their new lives in Belgium. This commitment includes both practical and emotional assistance, ensuring that families feel welcomed and integrated into their new community. Sponsors contribute financially in a limited but impactful way\u2014covering initial housing costs such as rent and deposit before arrival, and offering short-term financial assistance during the family’s first month, bridging the gap until they receive their refugee status. Through this initiative, sponsors help create a strong foundation for refugees to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.<\/p>\n

\u00cates-vous une personne d\u00e9vou\u00e9e souhaitant contribuer \u00e0 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui vous entoure? Vous souhaitez participer \u00e0 une aventure profond\u00e9ment humaine qui changera la vie de toute une famille ?<\/p>\n

Avec quatre autres personnes, vous pouvez former un groupe de solidarit\u00e9 et accompagner une famille de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9.es en Belgique. Vous vous investirez aupr\u00e8s d'elle et leur offrirez un soutien pendant un an afin de les aider \u00e0 reconstruire leur vie. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape consiste \u00e0 leur trouver un logement. En attendant le revenu d'int\u00e9gration sociale (RIS), vous l'aiderez \u00e9galement financi\u00e8rement pendant les premi\u00e8res semaines pour leurs besoins de base (premier mois de loyer, produits de premi\u00e8re n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, frais administratifs, etc.). Par la suite, votre mission sera de soutenir la famille dans son quotidien et sa nouvelle vie en Belgique.<\/p>\n
