In 2020, despite the fact of what crucial situation the world was facing as a result of covid19, Lebanon was facing it with more pressure because of<\/strong> economic breakdown<\/strong>, the effects of the explosion<\/strong>, et the lack of political stability<\/strong>.
Adding to that, the landlord of Ouzaii shelter<\/strong> took a decision to evacuate the shelter<\/strong>, ignoring the fact that this decision will make 400 families homeless<\/strong>. Due to this decision and with huge sadness, we shut down our center<\/strong> there since there are no beneficiaries anymore.

PROJET OUZA\u00cf<\/h1>\n

\u00c0 quelques minutes de la c\u00f4te libanaise, \u00e0 Sa\u00efda, dans une construction inachev\u00e9e destin\u00e9e \u00e0 devenir une universit\u00e9, ce b\u00e2timent est devenu un refuge pour les habitant.es d'un petit village qui ont fui la guerre en Syrie. Iels ont fait de ce b\u00e2timent leur abri. S'attendant \u00e0 y passer une ou deux semaines avant de retourner dans leur pays d'origine, puisqu'iels sont proches de leur ville natale, iels ont malheureusement d\u00fb rester pendant des ann\u00e9es tout en essayant de se familiariser \u00e0 cette construction incompl\u00e8te.<\/p>\n

Pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de ces personnes d\u00e9plac\u00e9es, nous avons inaugur\u00e9 notre centre \u00e0 Sa\u00efda. Nous y proposons des cours d'\u00e9ducation et d'autonomisation pour les enfants et les femmes. En ce qui concerne l'\u00e9ducation, la plupart des \u00e9l\u00e8ves des centres d'h\u00e9bergement sont inscrit.es dans des \u00e9coles publiques. C'est pourquoi nous dispensons notre programme d'\u00e9ducation non-formelle<\/strong> et soutenons les \u00e9l\u00e8ves dans leur travail scolaire en nous basant sur le programme libanais, et ce, pour tous les cours, aussi bien pour l'arabe, l'anglais, les math\u00e9matiques, l'aide aux devoirs, que pour les cours de sciences hebdomadaires, les activit\u00e9s PSS et les cours de comp\u00e9tences de vie.<\/p>\n

Le programme d'autonomisation<\/strong> cible les jeunes et les femmes en leur proposant des cours d'arabe et d'anglais pour am\u00e9liorer leurs comp\u00e9tences en communication, ainsi que des cours sur l'utilisation des bases informatiques, d'Internet, de Microsoft Office et de divers logiciels.<\/p>\n

Along a side with these programs there is always a psychological<\/strong> soutien<\/strong> offered by a full time psychologist located in the center during working hours to support any need.<\/p>\n
