In Syria I lived a happy life with my parents, I used to have my own income from selling embroidering pieces with my mother. After the war started we had to move to Arsal, my married brother became our caregiver since my mom and me did not have anyone else. Soon my mom and my brother died from an unfortunate accident, they were buried here. Now I live with my sister and help her raise her 4 children, we opened a store to have some income. Despite my worries about leaving my nephews at home, I still attend SB\u2019s sewing classes regularly and try really hard to be a top student, so I can get a sewing machine. Going to class gives me the opportunity to get out of my depressing environment and learn things that can benefit me in my daily life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Syrie, je vivais une vie heureuse avec mes parents. J’avais mes propres revenus en vendant des broderies avec ma m\u00e8re. Apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de la guerre, nous avons d\u00fb d\u00e9m\u00e9nager \u00e0 Arsal. Mon fr\u00e8re mari\u00e9 est devenu notre fournisseur de soins, car ma m\u00e8re et moi n\u2019avions personne d\u2019autre. Ensuite, ma m\u00e8re et mon fr\u00e8re sont morts d’un accident malheureux, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enterr\u00e9s ici. Maintenant, je vis avec ma s\u0153ur et je l\u2019aide \u00e0 \u00e9lever ses 4 enfants. Nous avons ouvert un magasin pour avoir un revenu. Malgr\u00e9 mes inqui\u00e9tudes de laisser mes neveux \u00e0 la maison, j\u2019assiste toujours r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement aux cours de couture de SB et j\u2019essaie vraiment d\u2019\u00eatre une excellente \u00e9l\u00e8ve afin de pouvoir me procurer une machine \u00e0 coudre.
